Business information for those who grant credit

A default is not bad luck. It is a check not made.

Financial statements, beneficial owners, groups, protesti, sanctions, PEPs and adverse media, rating: on companies and individuals, in Italy and in 44 other countries, in a single document, normally in a couple of minutes. Then artificial intelligence reads the whole file and writes the risk assessment, with the reasons.

Ten VAT numbers from your portfolio, free. No credit card, no contract. And nobody will phone you.

of the manufacturing companies in Lombardy and Veneto with turnover above 25 million closed their latest financial statements at a loss.

It is 359 out of 2,240. Each is a company to which someone granted a payment extension a year earlier, when that data already existed. The data was there: it was not where it was needed, when it was needed.

Complify analysis of filed financial statements: active limited companies, section C of ATECO 2025, turnover above 25 million, registered office in Lombardy or Veneto.

01The file

All the business information, in a single document.

The sources you open one by one today, chamber of commerce, financial statements, protesti, land registry, international lists, are queried in parallel and laid out in a file with contents, sources and date. And it stays with the company: whoever looks for it tomorrow finds it, and does not buy it again.

Who is linked to whom in your archive, including indirectly, on a map to explore. A shared street is a node too, which can be hidden when it is not needed.

21

BIAI, the assistant

Answers on the positions in your archive with source and date, in writing or by voice. It also searches by address, opens reports already bought and, for subjects not yet in the archive, searches the Register: Italian companies, companies in 44 foreign countries, people.

22

Purchases with BIAI

It buys catalogue products on your behalf, including for a new subject, if the function is active for your team and only with a mandate that you give, with a daily threshold that you set. Each purchase is shown to you first and carried out after your confirmation.

23

Geographical coincidences

In portfolio analysis, the subjects in the archive that share the same street in the same municipality: registered offices, local units, associated companies, residences. The classic signal of domiciliation arrangements and shell companies.

24

Teams and access

Each office buys the products and uses the functions of its team; the whole organisation reads what has been bought. Access with a password asks for a code by email at every sign-in.

02How it works

You type. You wait a minute. You read.

The sections are acquired in parallel from the sources and laid out by themselves: no copy and paste, no portal to open. Then artificial intelligence reads them together, as an analyst would, and writes the assessment. The summary sheet opens in tenths of a second, the full file normally arrives in one or two minutes, depending on the sources' response times.

  • In the contents, only the sections of the chosen product.
  • At the end, the sources and the date of the data, section by section.
  • On the page and in PDF, from the same layout.

03The assessment and artificial intelligence

A rating says how much. Artificial intelligence says why.

“The system says B3” is not an answer to take to whoever signs a credit decision. A written assessment is. Artificial intelligence reads the whole file (financial statements, shareholding structure, adverse records, lists) and writes the reasoning next to each level, in your organisation's language: it can be read, discussed, minuted and, if need be, disproved.

Credit risk · example

Medium

Mid-range rating, equity contracting for two financial years and falling margins. No adverse records against the company or its officers; the presence of real estate is a mitigating factor.

Money laundering risk · example

Low

Beneficial owners identified along the whole chain, no findings on sanctions lists, PEPs or adverse media, sector and territory with no warning factors.

Scale

Three levels, explained: whoever reads understands what it is based on.

Weight

A protesto weighs according to who suffered it: the company more than a shareholder.

Rules

The assessment comes from written rules, which can be read.

Artificial intelligence

Reads everything and writes the assessment. The rules set the minimum: AI can make it more severe, never more lenient.

Honesty

If the sources are not enough it writes “not computable”, and says what is missing.

Where artificial intelligence works

A complete file can run to dozens of pages: financial statements, shareholding structure, positions, adverse records, lists. Artificial intelligence reads them all and writes what an analyst would write at the end: what weighs, in which direction and why. It works on written rules, which it cannot soften, and leaves the decision to you. Inside the platform there is also BIAI, the assistant that answers on your archive citing the section and the date of the data. It can search the Register and buy on your behalf, but only with the mandate you give it and after your confirmation: each purchase is shown to you first, within daily limits and the available credit, and stays recorded. It does not decide in your place.

01

Credit risk and anti-money laundering risk assessment

Level and reasoning in your organisation's language, for companies and natural persons. AI can make the assessment more severe than the rules, never more lenient.

02

Signing powers read by AI

Where the Register records the powers in free text, AI reads them and says who can sign and how.

03

Forecasts from the financial statements, commented on by AI

Three scenarios over three years, calculated with a declared method that never changes. The commentary that explains them is written by AI.

04

Adverse media from the web, coming soon

Coming soon: what the web says about the company and its directors. AI reads it, and the document says why an item of news is really theirs.

05

Transparency and the AI Act

Every document declares where artificial intelligence works. It is a support tool: the decision stays with whoever signs.

06

An assessment that does not change on its own

AI writes the assessment at purchase, and the document keeps it with the date of the data: reopened, it says the same thing.

04Who is behind it

The company name is new. The shareholders, often, are not.

The file does not stop at the shareholding structure: it goes up the chain of control and down through the shareholdings, company by company. A company reached by two routes is controlled for the sum of the shares, not for the largest branch: this is the difference between a minority shareholder and whoever is really in charge.

  • Where a company form does not publish its shareholding structure, the file stops and says why.
  • Next to each officer, who can sign for the company and how: sole, separate or joint. Green if verified, yellow if the power exists and the manner does not, red if it cannot be verified. Where the Register records the powers in free text, artificial intelligence reads them, and the recorded text stays in the document.
  • Behind a guarantee there is often a whole group. That is why the natural person has a file of their own too.

Links in the portfolio

The links that a file alone does not show.

Complify brings out the links, including indirect ones, between the companies and people in your archive, and shows you where to look before you decide.

  • Who recurs in your portfolio, and where there is something to look into.
  • Indirect links, in addition to those written in the file.
  • Who is at the same address: the subjects that share the same street in the same municipality, even if the files are different.
  • Companies and natural persons in the same reading.
  • Confidentiality: each organisation sees only what it is entitled to.

05Oversight

The assessment also weighs what only you know. And it does not age.

Your data in the assessment

The sources say what the subject is in the market. Your systems say what it is to you.

Assessments of companies and individuals, and portfolio analysis, can take into account the data in your CRM and management system.

  • From the management system: payments received, payment schedule, orders, exposure already accrued.
  • From the CRM: the history of the relationship, the contacts, the disputes.
  • How the customer has behaved with you, alongside what the sources say.

Monitoring

A check made in March is not valid in November.

Once monitoring is switched on for a customer, its information is re-read at the frequency you chose, without anyone having to remember.

  • Configurable frequency: tighter for customers on credit, wider for the others.
  • Oversight belongs to the company: someone who changes role does not take their customers with them.
  • The list shows, customer by customer, what is being monitored.

06Abroad

A foreign customer is checked just like an Italian one.

Since September we also cover Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Poland, Greece, the Baltic and Nordic countries, Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans. The summary sheet, the document and the archive are the same in 44 countries besides Italy. And sanctions, PEPs and adverse media have no nationality: screening covers the whole world.

07Archive principle

The document on which you based your decision does not change on its own.

Assessment and dates are fixed to the day of the data, and the document states that day. Reopened six months later, it says what it said on the day of the decision, even if the customer has changed in the meantime. If something has changed since, the document flags it at the top and leaves you to choose whether to update it.

Defence

If the case ends up with the lawyers, the document shows what you knew then.

Consistency

Two people in the same company read the same assessment of the same customer.

Memory

What a colleague has bought is already yours, at every office, and can be read again at no further charge. Teams govern what is bought; what has been bought is read by the whole organisation.

08How to pay

You pay for the check, when you need it. Nothing else.

No subscription, no volume commitment, no tacit renewal to cancel by registered letter. You top up a credit, and the credit belongs to the company.

Before, not afterThe price is shown before you buy; if your credit is not enough, the page says so before you click.
No charge for an empty resultA search with no result is not charged.
Only onceA file already bought can be reopened at no further charge, from every office.
Line by lineWho, when, on whom, how much: the statement can be filtered and downloaded.
Who it is forThe amount is hidden from those who must not see it, without taking the tool away from them.
In your systemsThe same file, via API, with one key per organisation.

The prevailing model

  • Annual fee with volume commitment
  • Checks not made are still paid for
  • A search with no result is charged
  • Tacit renewal and cancellation by registered letter
  • The file is pieced together by hand from several portals
  • Every office buys again what another already has
  • A number, without the why
  • The summary is written by hand, when there is time
  • The natural person is just a screening

Complify

  • No subscription, no annual minimum
  • You pay for the check, when you need it
  • A search with no result is not charged
  • No contract to cancel
  • The file assembles and lays itself out
  • The archive belongs to the company: what is there is not bought again
  • An assessment written by AI, with the sources
  • The summary is written by AI, once the file is ready
  • The natural person has a file, document and risk of their own
